_Hold
the
thread with the left hand.

Turn
the
handwheel
towards
you
(counterclockwise) lowering, then raising the
needle.

Gentty pull on the
thread to bring the
upper
bobbin thread up through the needle plate
hole. The bobbin thread wilt come up in a
loop.
Pult both threads to the back under the
presser foot.

Raise the presser foot. Remove the fabric, draw
the threads to the left side of the face cover
and cut using the thread culler.
The threads are cut at the proper length to
start the next seam.
