2.1.2 Optical System Connections (Optical Engine)

The optical systems consists of 5 blocks (Exhaust fan, Light guide unit, Optical
head/Prism unit, and Projection lens unit) as shown below. These units and CD10DR
board are specified as "Optical engine" and it is one replaceable part.
In addition to the five items, CD10FC board is attached at the bottom of light guide unit.
It relay the switch signal on the lamp inner housing to the CD10DR board. It is
therefore independent of the optical functions.
