6. Operation

6.1. Starting the recorder

To turn on / off the Eytron portable Mini DVR with LCD, press and hold the power button for
at least 2 seconds.
After every start the recorder shows the live view mode and automatically changes to NTSC
or PAL, depending which video signal is connected at the AV input. If schedule recording
has been programmed the recorder will automatically continue this schedule.
If the symbol is showed, the SD-Card has been recognized correctly and the recorder is
ready. If the SD-Card cannot be recognized the REC LED flashes red.
In this case please format the SD-Card.
If the write protection of the SD-Card is activated, it is only possible to read recorded data.
Attention
Never remove the SD-Card during the boot process. This can lead to permanent damage of
recorded data.
Use a sharp pointed object to push the button, in order to
restart the recorder.
Use a USB cable in order to read data from the SD-Card.
Connect an external sensor, in order to trigger an alarm.
DVR is recording.
DVR is supplied with power.
Reached SD-Card capacity, SD-Card reading failure, SD-Card is
write protected, SD-Card is damaged.
