IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:

1.
Read the entire instruction manual before using the appliance for the fi rst time.
2.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3.
To protect against electric shock do not immerse appliance, cord or plugs in
water or any other liquid.
4.
Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used by or near children.
5.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7.
The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the appliance manu
facturer and may cause injuries to person or property.
8.
This appliance is for household use only.
9.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11.
Extreme caution must be taken when moving an appliance containing hot batter
or other liquids.
12.
Always attach plug to appliance fi rst, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
13.
Do not use appliance in any way other than for its intended use.
14.
Never use the appliance if the supply cord is damaged. It must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly persons in order to avoid
hazard.
15.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
16.
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2) If the appliance is with grounding type, the extension cord should be a
grounding 3-wire cord.
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over the
countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory of mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be performed by children unless they are older than 8
and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
under the age of 8 years.
