- Do not use any other thermos jug,
otherwise the special drip protection will
prevent the coffee from filtering through.
- Do not stir the liquid inside the glass
interior of the thermos jug 6 using pointed
or hard objects and do not reach inside it,
as there is a risk of breakage and injury.
- Condensation forming on the filter holder 3
does not constitute a fault. It is
design related.

Before first use

Operate the coffee maker twice using
S
6 cups of water each time in order to clean
it. An inoffensive smell associated with new
objects may arise.
In this case, use a diluted vinegar solution
S
(5 cups of water to 1 cup of vinegar) and
then rinse twice with 6 cups of water.
Thermos jug
Open and close the lid of the thermos jug 6 by
turning it.
To close → Turn the lid clockwise to the
S
stop.
To pour → Undo the closed lid
S
anti clockwise by approximately 60 ° to
the stop.
To open → Turn the lid anti clockwise.
S
Brewing the coffee
Switch on power switch 12 (position 1).
S
Remove the reservoir 2, fill with water and
S
reinsert.
Swing out the filter holder 3.
S
Insert 1x4 filter paper in the filter 4 and fill
S
with the required amount of ground coffee.
Swing back the filter holder 3 and click into
S
place.
Place the thermos jug 6 with the lid
S
secured under filter holder 3.

Select the aroma using the aroma
S
selection button 7,
corresponding indicator light lights up for
5 minutes or until brewing has ended and
then goes out. The aroma selected
remains stored. The aroma can also be set
during brewing.
Info: If the power supply is interrupted
(appliance switched off or unplugged,
power cut), your own settings will be lost.
The factory setting is then restored.
Press 0/I On Off button 8 (or 9) for
S
the amount of coffee required, the
indicator light lights up. The brewing
process can be interrupted and resumed
at any time by pressing the
Off button 8 (or 9).
After the indicator light has gone out, wait
S
a short time until all the coffee has drained
through the filter into the jug.
Leave the coffee maker to cool down for
5 minutes before using again.
Tea can also be prepared in this way. Simply
use tea instead of ground coffee.
Tips for preparing coffee
Keep ground coffee cool, it can also be frozen.
Always seal opened packets of coffee tightly
so that the flavour is retained.
How the coffee beans are roasted affects the
taste and flavour.
Dark roasted = spicy,
Light roasted = sharp
Cleaning
Never immerse the coffee maker in water or
put it in the dishwasher.
Do not use a steam cleaner.
Switch off the power switch 12 and pull

out the plug (your settings will be lost).
After each use, clean all parts that have
S
come into contact with coffee.
