3. SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING

- Check the brake fluid level at the brake fluid reservoir (1). Add the missing volume
with the new brake fluid up to max. level.
- Slide the hose on the vent screw after removing of rubber plug and put the other
end of hose into the transparent reservoir partially filled with brake fluid . The vent
screw must be permanently under pressure to avoid aerating of brake system
trough the screw threads. Place the reservoir minimally 300 mm above the vent
screw at this work.
- Loosen the vent screw maximally by 1/4 turn.
- Process for bleeding is the same as mentioned in - Important (see page 156).
- Fully press the pedal which is not blocked by gauge and tighten the adjusting
screw.
- Release the brake pedal and repeat the process so long until bubbles come from
the hose.

4. BLEEDING OF FRONT DRIVING
AXLE BRAKE SYSTEM
It is necessary to bleed the trailer control
valve before bleeding according to the
point 2. Bleeding of trailer air brake
system and this must be done even in
case that air trailer brakes are not in-
stalled.
Bleed the system at working air pressure
730" 20 following the instructions:
