    SZX-DA ASSEMBLY The diagram below shows how to connect this attachment to the microscopic system. The numbers in the diagram indicate the order of assembly. # When assembling the microscopic system, make sure that all parts are free of dust and dirt. Avoid scratching any parts or touching the glass surfaces.

    SZX-DA OBSERVATION PROCEDURE Placing the Drawing Sheet Place a drawing sheet directly below the mirror tube and fix so that it does not move. Adjusting the Mirror Tube (Fig. 1) Loosen the mirror tube clamping knob @, pivot the mirror tube so that it is Mirror tube perpendicular to the drawing sheet.
  • Page 9 Removing the Light Shield Cap (Fig. 2) The light shield cap should be removed and placed on the top of the mirror tube during drawing. # When microscopic observation is required while the drawing attach- ment is mounted on the microscope, attach the light shield cap on the drawing sheet side to shield the light.
