Air Fitter Care and C!eanin:
The removab)e air fitter prevents dust from accumulating on the surface of the projection tens and
projection mirror.
Should the air fitter become ctogged with dust particies, it wiit reduce the cooiing fan's effectiveness and
may resuit in internal heat buitd up and reduce the iife of the projector.
To cfean the air fitter, foifow the cleaning procedures below:
1. Turn the LAMP POWER ON/OFF button OFF.
2. Remove the air fitter cover.
Carefuity p!ace a coin against the indented part of the fitter cover and
!ift.
3. Remove the air fitter from the fitter cover.
4. Clean the air fitter with a vacuum cleaner.
5. Replace the air fitter. Make sure that air fitter cover is tufty inserted.

When used under the dusty or smoky conditions, dust may
accumutate on the tiquid crystal panet and tens inside it. and may
resuttantty be projected on the screen together with the picture.
When the above symptoms are noticed contact the place where your
authorized dealer or service station for the cleaning.
Temperature Warning Indicator

The TEMPERATURE WARN!NG INDICATOR flashes red when the
intema) temperature of the projector exceeds the norma!
temperature.
Possible causes for the temperature warning may be:
1. Ventilation stots of the projector are blocked. in such an event,
reposition the projector so that ventilation stots are not obstructed.
2. Air filter is dogged with dust partides. Remove dust from the air
fitter by following instructions in the Air Fitter Care and Cleaning
section above.
3. )f temperature warning indicator remains on after performing the
checks iisted above, cooiing fan/internaf circuits
may be
malfunctioning. Request service from an authorized deafer or
service station.
