1-2. Oscillation circuit
The oscillation circuit
generates
the clock
signal
used by the MICOM to determine the
occurrence
of various events. OSC1
must always
use
exact replacement
parts
or
the
timing
will be off.
1-3. Reset circuit
The
reset
circuit allows all functions
to start
from scratch after
a power-up or power
interruption.
A LOW
signal
is
sent to
the
reset
terminal of the MICOM for 10 milliseconds. The
voltage at
the
reset
terminal is 5 Vdc
during
normal
operation.
If the
reset
IC fails, the MICOM will
not
operate.
