FIGHTER 1220
Connect the black communication cable to the heat
pump's modular connector (106) located on the CPU card
(34). Use the supplied connector and cable, plugged in the
CPU card's (34) modular connector first, to position the
connection on the outside.
The CPU card in FIGHTER1220 must have version number
1.03 or higher for communications to work.

FIGHTER 1240/1250
Open the front cover on the heat pump (see the heat
pump's maintenance instructions). Connect the supplied
black communication cable to the free modular connector
on the printed circuit board (162). Use the supplied con-
nector to connect the communication cable from the RCU.
The CPU card in Fighter 1240/1250 must have version
number 1.03 or higher for communications to work.

FIGHTER 13XX
If several Fighter F1320/1330 are interconnected the RCU
must be connected to the Master.
Remove the short modular cable between the CPU card
(34) and the communication card (3). If one or more slaves
are connected, the remaining modular cable to the com-
munication card (3) must be connected to the socket oppo-
site the terminal that the slave's communication is connec-
ted to. Connect the supplied black communication cable
to the heat pump's modular connector located on the CPU
card (34).
Use the supplied connector and cable, plugged in the CPU
card's (34) modular connector first, to position the connec-
tion on the outside.
The CPU card in FIGHTER 1320/1330 must have version
number 1.10 or higher for communications to work.

Final installation
Connect the 4-pole modular cable to the power adapter
output. Plug the power adapter into a nearby wall socket.
Refit the plastic cover to the RCU.
The heat pump must be configured, to permit communi-
cation with the RCU. This is done via the service menus.
Refer to the "Installation and Maintenance Instructions"
for the respective products, or have a look in the "Quick
Start Guide".
Tip: Try to find a wall socket for the power adapter that is
fed from a different fuse than the fuse for the heat pump
supply. The RCU will then be able to detect if the heat
pump shuts down.
