Placing batteries
SFX-32 needs 4 x UM-4 battery which serve as temporary
back up in case your
AC power is interrupted.
This protects the recorded
ICM, MEMO and your own
OGM. To conserve
the batteries, always
keep the SFX-32
connected
to AC
power.

Replace the battery cover.

The recorded
ICM, MEMO and/or
own OGM can be kept approx. 5 days
without AC power.
4 x type UM-4 battery are included
with the unit as an accessory.

When the battery is need to be replaced, a warning
message is shown on the
display. This appears only when the SFX-32 is set to ANSWER mode or lCM/
MEMO and/or
own OGM has been recorded.

The display
shows
date/time,
number
of recorded
lCM/MEMO
(if any) and
"REPLACE
BATTERY!"
in sequence.
When replacing
the batteries, do not remove AC plug from AC outlet.
If you replace the batteries without AC power, the recorded
lCM/MEMO
and
own OGM are all erased.
