When the sound mode is activated, the "EQ" indicator
lights up on the display.

USING THE CD

PLAYING THE ENTIRE DISC-NORMAL PLAY
1. Press OPEN/CLOSE on the unit.
The disc cover opens.
You can insert a disc while listening to another
source.
2. Place a disc correctly with its label side up.
3. Close the disc cover gently.
4. Press SOURCE.
The unit automatically turns on and the source
changes to the CD player, After loading the disc,
total track number and total playing time are shown
on the display.
5. Press
.
The first track of the disc starts playing.
• The disc automatically stops when the last track has
finished playing.
To stop playing, press .
To remove the disc, press OPEN/CLOSE on the unit in
stop mode.
Note:
• If the disc can not be read correctly (because it is
scratched, for example) or an unreadable disc is
inserted, playback will not start.
• If no disc is inserted, "NO DISC" appears on the
display.

BASIC DISC OPERATIONS

While playing a disc, you can do the following operations.
To stop playing for a moment
During play, press
.
While pausing, the elapsed playing time flashes on the
display.
To resume playing, press
again.
To go to another track
Before or during play, press
: Skips to the beginning of the next tracks.
: Goes back to the beginning of the previous
tracks.
To locate a particular point in a track
During play, press and hold SCROLL SEARCH - or
SCROLL SEARCH +
• SCROLL SEARCH + : Fast-forwards the tracks.
• SCROLL SEARCH - : Fast-reverses the tracks.
PROGRAMMING THE TRACK PLAYING
ORDER
You can arrange the order in which the tracks are played
before you start playing. You can program up to 20 tracks
in stop mode.
1. Place a disc.
If the current source is not the CD player, press
SOURCE.
2. Press PROG.
The PROG indicator starts blinking.
3. Press
or
(or press the number buttons on the
remote control) to select the track number, then
press PROGRAM to confirm. "PROG" and "P-01"
starts blinking.
4. Repeat step 3 to program other tracks you want.
Note:
• You can not program more than 20 tracks. If you
attempt to do it, "Program FULL" will flash on the
display.
To play the programmed tracks
Press
• During program play, you can press
the desired track in the program.
Notes:
If you press CD/REPEAT during program play.
The current track or all programmed tracks are played
repeatedly.
To clear the program.
Press
in stop mode.
• The stored program is cleared when the CD
compartment is opened.
