How the sleep timer actually works
The unit automatically turns off after the specified length
of time passes.
1. Press and hold CLOCK/SLEEP button on the
remote control until "SLEEP OFF" appears on the
display.
2. Press CLOCK/SLEEP.
3. Press CLOCK/SLEEP repeatedly to select the
desired time length. Each time you press the
button, the length of time ( in minutes )
as follows:
4. Wait for about 5 seconds after specifying the length
of time. The SLEEP indicator lights up steadily on
the display.
To check the remaining time until shut-off time, press and
hold CLOCK/SLEEP once. The remaining time until shut-
off time appears for about 5 seconds.
To change the shut-off time, press CLOCK/SLEEP
repeatedly until the length of time you want appears.
To cancel the setting, press CLOCK/SLEEP repeatedly
until "OFF" appears and the SLEEP indicator goes off from
the display.
Turning off the unit also can cancel the Sleep Timer.

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the cabinet
Use a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild
detergent solution. Do not use a solution containing
alcohol, spirits, ammonia or abrasive.
Cleaning discs
When a disc becomes dirty, clean it with a cleaning
cloth, wipe the disc from the center out. Do not wipe in
circular motion.
D o n o t u s e s o l v e n t s s u c h a s b e n z e n e , t h i n n e r
commercially available cleaners, or antistatic spray
intended for analogue records.
Cleaning the disc lens
After prolonged use, dirt or dust may accumulate at
the disc lens. To ensure good playback quality, clean
the disc lens with CD lens cleaner or any
commercially available cleaner.
Follow the instructions supplied with cleaner.
