6. GND LIFT switch
This switch lifts the ground of the balanced audio inputs from the earth-ground of the amplifier. If you have HUM noise
problems in one or more loudspeakers, try to change the position of these switches (often the best option is to set all
of them up or down in all the loudspeakers). Please note that to have an effect all connection cables must be balanced.
7. DSP EDIT Encoder / Button
Push and turn this knob to edit the DSP parameters (see DSP SETTINGS for detailed instructions). Pressing this button
while switching on the loudspeaker will force a DSP RESET and recall the factory default setting.
8. LCD DISPLAY
The display shows the current DSP status (current preset, digital signal attenuation, input level) and it is used to access
the DSP parameters (see DSP SETTINGS for detailed instructions).
9. POWER switch
Speaker is "ON" when the switch is in the "I" position, use this switch to set the speaker power to ON or OFF.
NOTE: When you shut down your equipment, turn off the speaker first. When powering up, turn on the speaker last.
10. LINE VOLTAGE selector
This switch sets the AC voltage line of your country (usually it is set by factory and isn't necessary to change it). The
115V setting is for mains line in the range of 105-120V~ and 230V setting is for mains line in the range of 210-240V~.
WARNING: AN INCORRECT SETTING OF AC LINE VOLTAGE COULD DAMAGE SERIOUSLY THE INTERNAL
ELECTRONICS!
11. FUSE holder
Here is placed the mains protection fuse.
WARNING: REPLACE THE PROTECTION FUSE ONLY WITH SAME TYPE AS SHOWN ON THE PRODUCT.
IF AFTER THE SUBSTITUTION, THE FUSE INTERRUPTS AGAIN THE APPARATUS WORKING, DO NOT TRY AGAIN
THEN CONTACT THE PROEL SERVICE CENTER.
12. AC~ socket
Here's where you plug in your speaker's mains supply cord. You should always use the mains cord supplied with the
speaker. Be sure your speaker is turned off before you plug the mains supply cord into an electrical outlet.
13. FRONT LED
The front LED shows the status of the loudspeaker (see DSP SETTINGS for instructions about how to set this LED).

DSP SETTINGS (FIG.5)

CURRENT DSP STATUS (main page)
During normal operation the display shows:
- the current preset;
- the signal digital attenuation in dB, which can be set rotating the DSP EDIT knob;
- the input signal level meter.
The level meter shows two warnings in case the input signal reaches very high levels:
LIMITER! - the speaker has reached the maximum power capability, so the input signal is limited by the DSP in order
to avoid distortions or speaker overloads.
IN CLIP! - the input signal is about to reach the maximum dynamics of the DSP AD converter, so it must be reduced
using the LEVEL controls (3) or (4) in order to avoid distortions of the converter.
PRESET (page 1/8)
This menu is used to choose one of the available EQ presets, in order to configure the type of sound to be produced by
the speaker (see FIG.4 for the correspondent frequency response):
1-MUSIC: to be used for recorded music playback. This is the default preset.
2-LIVE: to be used for reproducing vocals and instruments in live applications.
3-DJ: specifically designed for recorded dance and electronic music playback.
4-MONITOR: to be selected when the loudspeaker is used as a floor monitor for musicians and DJs.
5-SPEECH: to be used for spoken word applications, in particular when a dynamic microphone is connected directly
to the loudspeaker's MIC input.
MASTER EQ (pages 2/8 and 3/8)
These menus are used to set the master EQ. The BASS range is -6 dB to +6 dB at 90 Hz, the HIGH range is -6 dB to +6 dB
at 8 KHz, both with a "SHELVING" curve.
DYNAMIC EQ (page 4/8)
