Exposure To Radio Frequency (RF) Energy
Your phone contains a transm itter and a receiver. W hen it is O N, it
receives and transm its RF energy. W hen you com m unicate w ith
your phone, the system handling your call controls the power level
at w hich your phone transm its.
Your M otorola phone is designed to com ply with local regulatory
requirem ents in your country concerning exposure of hum an beings
to R F energy.

Operational Precautions

To assure optim al phone perform ance and m ake sure hum an
exposure to R F energy is within the guidelines set forth in the
relevant standards, alw ays adhere to the follow ing procedures.
External Antenna Care
U se only the supplied or M otorola-approved replacem ent antenna.
U nauthorised antennas, m odifications, or attachm ents could
dam age the phone.
D o NO T hold the external antenna w hen the phone is IN U SE.
H olding the external antenna affects call quality and m ay cause the
phone to operate at a higher power level than needed. In addition,
use of unauthorised antennas m ay result in non-com pliance with the
local regulatory requirem ents in your country.
