Blasting Caps and Areas

To avoid possible interference with blasting operations, turn O FF
your phone when you are near electrical blasting caps, in a blasting
area, or in areas posted "Turn off electronic devices." O bey all signs
and instructions.
Batteries
Batteries can cause property dam age and/or bodily injury such as
burns if a conductive m aterial such as jewellery, keys, or beaded
chains touch exposed term inals. The conductive m aterial m ay
com plete an electrical circuit (short circuit) and becom e quite hot.
Exercise care in handling any charged battery, particularly w hen
placing it inside a pocket, bag, or other container w ith m etal objects.
