Corrective Action
Replace the blade (always wear protective
gloves)
Tighten nut ensuring the blade, rider plate and
dome washer are all present and central
(always wear protective gloves) (see figure 3)
Grass too high: Cut in stages
Grass too dense: Reduce rate of cutting every
time
Flip/replace blade
Check underneath the machine and clear out
as necessary (always wear protective gloves)
Lubricate shaft to aid removal
Reinsert locking pin and apply light pressure
whilst rotating shaft
Check underneath the machine and clear out
as necessary (always wear protective gloves)
Tighten nut ensuring the blade, rider plate and
dome washer are all present and central
(always wear protective gloves) (see figure 3)
Grass too high: Cut in stages
Grass too dense: Reduce rate of cutting every
time
Clean inside of cutting guard
Flip/replace blade
Remove cutting system and slip plate and
clean slip plate groove
