Take
care
to unplug the IC you are not using and plug it into the foam
provided on
top of
the OB-l 5 connector. A small screw driver or knife blade will help you in removal.
Plugging in the chip which you need requires a little patience. Be sure to put the pin I end.
of the IC which you are inserting. facing inward toward the center of the p.c. board. The IC
has a mark indicating pin I.This completes the interface selection process.
B. Switch Contact - Motion Control
1.
Communication Mode Selection
To select the "Switch Contact - Control Mode" make the following connection on the DB25
connector on the back of the motor electronics chassis.
Pin 1 ( with respect to ground) Connected to ground. When this pin is pulled low to ground. the
pan and tilt will only respond to Switch Contact Motion Control inputs on the DB25.

The following connections to the DB25 connector on the back of the motor / electronics

To cause a motion channel to become active. take anyone of the control lines to ground with
a switch or relay contact. As long as the motion channel control line is held low ( grounded)
the motion channel will remain
active.
When the channel reaches it's programmed end stop
the channel will stop. When the line is released the channel will also stop.
