Messages

In Messages, you can send and receive text
messages, multimedia messages and emails.
From the idle screen, select Home
to view the available functions of messaging.
Message functions are available depending on
network services that your service provider
supports. The messaging options are:
• Write message: Compose text message.
• Outbox: Stores outgoing messages.
• Inbox: View received text messages.
• Drafts: View messages that you wish to send
at a later time.
• Templates: Templates are preloaded/pre-
written messages for ready usage. If required,
you can edit the templates. Archive: Backed
up messages.
• Archive: Allows you to save inbox messages.
• Scheduled SMS: Sends the SMS automatically
on the scheduled date and time.
• SMS signature: Set the status to On/Off
Messages
if you want to attach a signature to your
messages.
• SMS backup: Export or import messages.
• SIM message settings:
o Profile settings: Create profiles to
customize the sending options, such as
message center number, message validity,
and message type (text, E-mail, Fax and
so forth.)
o Common settings: Enable or disable
delivery reports for messages.
o Memory status: Space available on device
for storing messages. Preferred storage;
Select folder for storing sent and received
messages.
