Messages
In Messages, you can send and receive text and
multimedia messages. To launch messages on
the idle screen, select Menu
view the available functions. Message functions
are available depending on network services that
your service provider supports.
SMS
While on the idle screen, choose Menu
SMS to display the Messages. The
Messages
various options are:
• Write Message: Create and send a text
message.
• Inbox: Messages received using SMS are
stored in the Inbox folder.
• Outbox:
Stores
temporarily.
• Drafts: Saved messages are stored in draft
folder.
Messages to
outgoing
messages
• Templates: Templates stores 10 preloaded/
pre-written text messages for ready usage.
• SMS Settings: Edit the profile settings,
Voicemail Server, Common settings, and the
Preferred Storage. You can also save sent
messages, and check the memory status.
You can save SMS either to Phone Memory
or Memory card in .txt format by using SMS
Backup function.
Using SMS Settings, you can create different
profiles for using the SMS services, set message
validity options, check available memory, or
choose the location where you wish to store the
messages.
MMS
The device supports multimedia messaging,
which allows you to send rich content (images,
videos, sounds and so on) as message attachment
to recipients. The various options are:
