Zoom Playback
You can magnify an image up to ×8. A guide showing the center of the
magnified portion of the image appears on the LCD monitor during zoom
playback.

Enter the Q mode and use the four-way controller
(45) to choose the image you want to magnify.

Turn the Zoom/f/y lever toward
y.
The image is magnified (×1.1 to ×8).
Turning the Zoom/f/y lever toward y
changes the magnification continuously.
You can use the guide at the bottom left of
the screen to check which portion of the
image is magnified.
The following operations can be performed while the magnified
image is displayed.

Press the 4 button.
The image returns to single-image display.
• Movies cannot be magnified.
• The guide does not appear if the LCD monitor display mode is set
to "No Info".
