subject within the range of approximately 40 cm (16 in.) to infinity when the
zoom is used (telephoto setting).

Touch [Focus Limiter] on the AF
Setting screen.
The setting changes to FL O (On) or P (Off).

When Capture mode is set to < (Flower), E (Pet), Q (Kids), D (Food) or B
(Text), [Focus limiter] is set to Off, but you can change the setting.
Using the Auxiliary AF Light
When the autofocus does not work properly because the subject is in a dark
On location, the subject is illuminated with the auxiliary AF light (orange light) to

make it easier to focus on the subject.
Off The auxiliary AF light is not activated even when the subject is too dark.
