Solution
Lock focus on another object located at
the same distance (press shutter
release button halfway), then compose
picture and press shutter release
button fully, or use Manual Focus
mode (p.73).
Position subject in focus frame in
middle of LCD monitor. If the subject is
outside the focusing area, aim the
camera at the subject and lock the
focus (press shutter release button
halfway), then compose picture and
press the shutter release button fully.
Set focus mode to q (Macro) (p.72).
Subjects at a distance of 40 cm or
greater will be out of focus if taken with
the focus mode set to q (Macro)
(p.72).
Set auxiliary AF light to On (p.75).
Set to , (Auto) or b (Flash On) (p.62).
Switch to a different mode.
Use a tripod and the self-timer or
remote control function when taking a
picture (p.71).
Use flash or set a higher ISO sensitivity
to increase the shutter speed (p.71).
Check the white balance setting (p.64).
