Viewing Images with Macintosh
By using the provided USB cable (I-USB6) or card reader and
image-browser software, you can transfer images recorded with
the camera to a PC and edit them or print them out.
This section explains how to view images on a PC using the pro-
vided USB driver and software.
About the included software
The included CD-ROM (S-SW5) contains the following software:
- USB driver
- Image viewing software (ACDSee™)
System environment
OS:

Memory: 8MB or more
Hard disk space: 6MB or more
Standard equipped USB port
To view movie pictures on your Macintosh, QuickTime 4.0 or later

Installing the software

Installing the USB driver (Only for Mac OS 8.6)

Turn on your Macintosh.

Set the included CD-ROM (S-SW5) in the CD-ROM drive
of your Macintosh.

Copy the following 2 files to the [Extensions] folder
within the System folder.
PENTAX-USB Storage Driver
PENTAX-USB Storage Shim (E)

Restart your Macintosh.
For MacOS 9.x or later, there is no need to install the USB driver.

Double click your language choice.
You can choose the language from the following: English,
French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.
