Using the Self-Timer

The picture will be taken ten seconds after the shutter release but-
ton is pressed.

Set the mode dial to
mode.

Press the

Press the shutter release button.
The self-timer is started and the self-timer lamp lights. The
picture will be taken approximately three seconds after the
self-timer lamp starts to blink.
If you turn the LCD monitor on, the second count will be dis-
memo
played.

Taking Stereo Pictures (3D Image Mode)

You can take 3D pictures using the LCD monitor and view them by
the parallel method or cross method (p.49). If you print out the 3D
pictures and look at them through the 3D image viewer provided,
the image will appear in three dimensions.

Set the Mode dial to
in Capture mode.

Press the Menu button.
The [Rec. Mode] menu will be displayed.

Press the four-way controller (

to select [Applied Photo Mode].

Use the four-way controller (

to select [Parallel Mode] or [Cross
Mode].
To view the picture with the 3D
image viewer, select [Parallel Mode].
You can also view it without the
image viewer.

Press the Playback/OK button.
The LCD monitor screen is divided in two. The left half screen
is for taking the first picture.

Take the first picture while watch-
ing the capture guide.
Hold the camera so that the subject
is in the center of the left half
screen, and press the shutter
release button.
