SPECIFY A DESTINATION
Specifying a destination with an
address
A destination can be specified in different ways -
specifying an address is one of them.
1. Click on
lower margin - the map view
switches to keyboard with a
search field and various search
alternatives in the upper mar-
gin.
2. Then select Address from the upper margin -
a further search field is added.
Example of a search field - they vary depending on the
market/region.
Note that the search alternatives described here
are not available for all markets/regions - the
centre display shows only the available search
alternatives for the market in question.

Select one of the available text field options and
type using the centre display keyboard:

Country
•
City
•
Set dest. in the
Address
•
Number
•
Junction

Save the destination with "Send to
Car"
A destination can be specified in different ways -
using the Send to Car function (Send to Car) is
one of them.
Send to Car (Send to car) is a function that
makes it possible to add a destination or position
to the car's navigation system via a computer.
The Send to Car function can also be effected
with a mobile telephone via Volvo's VOC (Volvo
On Call) service. VOC can even be used if a des-
tination/position needs to be sent to the car from
the VOC centre.
Right click on the desired position and select "Send this
location to car".
