Preparing the mobile unit

Activating/deactivating the keypad lock

This allows you to protect your mobile unit against inadvert-
ent key activation, e.g. when carrying it in your bag. Calls
are signalled even if the keypad is locked and can be
answered in the same way as when the telephone is on.
Prerequisite: Mobile unit is activated.
Activating the keypad lock:

Deactivating the keypad lock:

Press the keypad lock key for 1 sec-
ond.
Display in keypad lock status.
Press the keypad lock key for 1 sec-
ond.
Display when the mobile unit is on or
idle (see page 12).
