Logging mobile units onto a telephone system

For information on setting the language, see page 46.
When the system is installed for the first time, the system
administrator provides you with mobile units which have
already been logged on. When extending the system, you
must log the new mobile units on as described below.
This is only required when the mobile unit is put into serv-
ice for the first time.
If purchased directly from Siemens, contact the Siemens
Service, and if purchased from a reseller, contact the
reseller in question.
You can enter the name and call number of your system
administrator here.
Your system administrator
For each mobile unit, ask for the call number and the sys-
tem code (8 digits).
Ask your system administrator to activate the logon win-
dow.
Note:
The logon window is automatically closed if the mobile
unit is not logged on as described above within 10 min-
utes. In this case, you must repeat the procedure.
Option 1:
(when the mobile unit is initially logged onto a system)

Enter the following in the mobile unit
within one minute:
Press the display key.
An input prompt is displayed.
Confirm the entry with the display key.
The display of
mediate display of the
symbol indicate that the mobile unit
has been logged on successfully.
