This multicore connector can be used to
connect either a recorder or a base unit
(LDK 4700/10).
When connected to a recorder it provides the
video outputs, control signals and the camera
microphone signal. DC power can also be
supplied to the camera via this connector. The
connector accepts a playback video signal for
display in the viewfinder. The start/stop
control signal for an external recorder is also
passed via this connector.

This BNC connector receives an SDI video input from
the base unit.
Reference, teleprompter and external video signals are
embedded in the stream together with intercom,
control and private data signals.
