General operation of the electrical assistance

The electrically-assisted bike can be used with or without assistance by pressing
the ON/OFF button. Always lock the battery with the key when in use. The electrical
assistance will only operate if you pedal. The assistance will switch off the moment
either of the two brake levers is depressed or the speed reaches more than 25
km/h. It will then restart automatically when below 23 km/h. In order to preserve bat-
tery life, the bike is equipped with a «power» limiter that limits assistance when the
motor is under heavy strain. During intensive use and in exceptional weather condi-
tions, the assistance may switch off to safeguard the entire system.
