INSTRUMENT PANEL

The presence and operation of the warning lights, described below, depend on the vehicle equipment and
country.

SERVICE warning light

This light comes on
when the ignition is
switched on and then goes out
within 3 seconds. If it lights up
when the vehicle is being
driven, it is advisable to stop at
a RENAULT Dealer soon.
It lights up together with one of
the warning lights:

left-hand
indicator
Low fuel-level warning
light
It goes out as soon as
the engine starts.
If it lights up or remains lit, fill
up with fuel as soon as
possible.

light
• Warning light for serious
injection fault
If it flashes, it indicates an
injection system fault. Stop
immediately, switch off the
ignition

allow the engine to run at
idle speed for a minute or
two. The temperature should

light
This may light up during a
journey for one of two reasons:
• Warning light for serious
injection fault
If
this
lights
(continuously), it indicates
that the engine will switch
off
quickly.
If
conditions allow, park your
vehicle in order to prevent it
from
stopping
while being driven.
• Coolant
temperature
warning light
If
this
lights
(continuously), it indicates
engine overheating. Stop and
allow the engine to run at
idle speed for a minute or
two. The temperature should
drop. If temperature needle 4
is in zone 4a, stop the engine
and call a RENAULT Dealer.
If not, continue driving, but
consult
your
RENAULT
Dealer as soon as possible.
