1. Initial operation of the engine
Always check if the air filter is mounted correctly and firmly before starting
the engine. The basic adijustment of the engine is set by the factory. The
mixture of petrol and lubricating oil should be 1:25 which means a share
of 4% 2-stroke lubricant (5L petrol/200ml lubricant). Suitable is super or
super plus petrol.

2. Starting the cold engine

Close the carburetor throttle valve or set it to the idling position. Now shut
the choke flap at the carburetor. Press the primer pump at the carburetor
until it is filled with fuel. Slowly pull out the rope starter until you feel a first
resistance, then pull strongly until the engine ignites audible. Normally the
engine will stop again after this first ignition. Now open the choke flap and
pull the rope starter once again until the engine runs. To turn the engine
off, press the ignition switch until the engine stops. (See picture 1)

4. Carburetor adjustment

The adjustment of the carburetor is pre-set by the factory to the local
conditions. Depending on air filter, exhaust silencer and operating
conditions a correction may be necessary.
Drive the car at medium rpm until the motor has reached his operating
temperature. If the engine decelerates a little during acceleration the it
runs to lean. In this case open the idling adjusting screw L anticlockwise.
if the engine revs up only slowly stammering and with clouds of smoke
coming out of the echaust the engine probably runs with a too rich
mixture.
In that case you should close the idling adjusting screw 1
clockwise. In order to adjust maximum rpm litt the rear wheels and set
the throttle of the warm engine to the wide open position for a short
time. Now you can turn the full throttle adjusting screw. If the mixture
seems too rich turn to the left, if it seems too lean turn to the right.
5. Basic adjustment of the carburetor
The specified values serve as reference. In some cases the carburetor has
to be readjusted. If you get the feeling that no-load adjustment screw 1 or
the Full-road adjustment screw 2 is completely misadjusted then close
both screws 1+2 carefully. Afterwards open the adjusting screw clockwise
corresponding to the values below.
1 No-load mixture adjusting screw 1,25 turns.
2 Full-load mixture adjusting screw 1,5 turns.
During the first two tank fillings you should avoid maximum speed under
no-load condition as well as longer full speed drives on flat areas. First of
all we recommend to check the range of your radio control system while
the engine is running.
Never operate the engine in closed-up rooms without sufficient
ventilation. Further safely instruction are enclosed with the engine.
