Configuration Menu
After pressing
menu the "configuration" menu opens. Use this
menu to modify the OLS settings.
The menu consists of two screens containing the
following functions:
•
Dial tone detection on / off
This setting is required if no dial tone is heard
during establishing a connection. The default value is on. This setting is relevant to
some PABX telephone switch systems.
Press
to switch the dial tone detection on or off.
•
Telephone number of server: contact your supplier for the telephone number of the
OLS server.
To change the number:

Enter the correct number using the numeric keypad.

Prefix: use this function in case you need to dial a certain number or string to access
an outside line.

Enter the correct prefix using the numeric keypad.

Country: enter the country from where you are dialing.
Select the correct country from a list by pressing

Date and time: enter the current date and time.

Enter the correct date and time using the numeric keypad.

Volume of modem: set the modem volume.

Press
Do not set the volume to zero as the sound of the modem is helpful during
remote assistance.

to confirm modified settings.
