I Defrost By Weight I
Use the Defrost By Weight setting to defrost meats, poultry and seafood weighing up
to 6 Ibs. This setting is a more gentle defrost setting than the "Quick Defrost" setting.
Thus, it is especially good for meats which are dense in the center or for small amounts
of delicate items.

First digit is pounds, second & third digitsare ounces. Ounce weights less than 10
must use a 0 as the first digit.
Example: To defrost 2 1/2 Ibs.groundbeef, you wouldtouch Defrost By Weight Pad;
then 2, O,8; then Start/Stop Pad.
Important: Toward the end of defrosting, two long beeps will sound and the oven
will turn off. The display will stop countingdown. At this point, open the oven door
end check thefood. (See Tips on p. 19) If food isthawed, touch Reset Pad to cancel
program. If food isstill frozen, touchStart/Stop Pad tocontinue defrosting. Four long
beeps signal the end of defrosting.
