HANDBRAKE

Mechanical brake to hold the vehicle
when stationary.
Applying
Pull the handbrake to immobilise
your vehicle.
Releasing
Pull on the handle and press the
button A to release the handbrake.
When the vehicle
driven, if this warning light and
STOP the warning light come
on, accompanied by an audible
signal and a message on the multi-func-
tion display, this indicates that the hand-
brake is still on or has not been properly
released.

When parking on a slope, direct
your wheels to chock them against
the pavement, pull the handbrake
and engage a gear.
