Descriptions
If enabled, the LinkStation will attempt to get its IP address from a DHCP
server on the network.
Set Subnet Mask.
Specify by IP address if Default Gateway Address exists.
Specify an IP address of an alternative DNS server.
If all devices on your network support Jumbo Frame, you may be able to
improve transmission efficiency by choosing a larger frame size than the
default.
• [1518 bytes (Default)] It is set to 1518 bytes at default.
• [4102 bytes (Jumbo Frame)] Transfer at 4102 bytes.
• [7422 bytes (Jumbo Frame)] Transfer at 7422 bytes.
• [9694 bytes (Jumbo Frame)] Transfer at 9694 bytes.
Enable or disable AFP and FTP.
[AFP] must be enabled here for Mac OS computers to connect via AFP.
Also, enable AFP in the shared folder settings to use AFP.
[FTP] must be enabled here for remote users to access the LinkStation via
FTP. Also, enable FTP in the shared folder settings to use FTP.
