LinkStation User Manual
Description
Select the volume for the shared folder.
The shared folder may be read-only or writable.
If enabled, deleted files are moved to a trashbox folder rather than actually
deleted.
You can enable recycle bin functionality for each shared folder on the LinkStation
as well as usbdisk1.
• To use Recycle Bin with usbdisk1, format it with EXT3, XFS, or FAT 32. NTFS and
HFS+ are not supported because files cannot be deleted with these formats.
• Recycle Bin is not supported while connecting via AFP or FTP.
Select which operating systems and features the share will support.

If another LinkStation will be backing up to this share, consider configuring

mistakenly backing up to it.
