„Always multicast": Here you can activate multicast transmission.
"Multicast group address": Here you can add IP hosts to a group.
"Multicast video port": The default setting is 5560. The entered port number has to be even.
"Multicast RTCP video port": This port is the result of taking the value of „Multicast video port" and
increasing it by 1.
"Multicast audio port": The default setting is 5562. The entered port number has to be even.
"Multicast RTCP audio port": This port is the result of taking the value of „ Multicast audio port" and
increasing it by 1.
"Multicast TTL": Time to Live
If you activate port forwarding in a router, please make sure to forward all ports (RTSP + HTTP)
in order to establish a successful connection.

< network camera > is the IP-address or hostname of the network camera.

7. DDNS

DynDNS or DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) is a service to automatically update domain name entries.
The network camera includes a integrated DynDNS client to update IP address independent of a router on
DynDNS service provider. If the network camera is located behind a router it is recommended to use the
DynDNS function of the router.
Below figure shows connetction/update process of IP address on DynDNS.

"Enable DDNS": Here you activate the DDNS function.
"Provider": The list shows different providers offering DDNS services. Connect manually by browsers to the
provider's website in order to ensure that the service is available.
"Host name": Here you have to enter the host name you registered with the DDNS provider. This entry
cannot be blank.
