Switch off and unplug the appliance.
Caution: When you switch off and/or unplug the appliance, the red
'heating plate hot' light goes out. However, the heating plate may still
be hot. Always let the heating plate cool down completely before you
handle or clean the base.
Cleaning
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids
such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliances.

Switch off and unplug the appliances.

Let the HomeCooker cool down.
Cleaning the Cutting Tower

Turn the lid with feeding tube anticlockwise to remove it from the
bowl with spout.

Lift the disc holder and the tool holder out of the bowl with spout.

Remove the disc from the disc holder.

Turn the bowl with spout anticlockwise to remove it from the base.

Clean the bowl with spout, the lid with feeding tube, the pusher, the
tool holder, the disc holder and the discs with warm water and some
washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
Clean the discs very carefully. The cutting edges are very sharp.

Wipe the motor unit with a moist cloth.
Danger: Never immerse the motor unit in water, nor rinse it under the
tap. Do not clean it in the dishwasher either.
Caution: If water or another liquids end up between the motor unit and
the bowl with spout, dry the motor unit properly before you use the
appliance again.

Wipe all parts of the appliance dry with a tea towel.
Cleaning the HomeCooker

Clean the pot, the stirrer, the steaming basket, the pasta insert and
the steaming tray with warm water and some washing-up liquid or in
the dishwasher.
