The SC400/SC420 connects directly to the SAS ports on the back of the storage system. SC400/SC420 Expansion Enclosure Overview The SC400 is a 2U expansion enclosure that supports up to 12 3.5‐inch hard drives installed in a four‐ column, three-row configuration. In the Dell Storage Client, make sure that the replacement hard drive is recognized and shown as up and running.
