PCH Storage Configuration

While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices. The
SATA port items show Empty if no SATA device is installed to the corresponding SATA port.
Hyper Kit Mode [Disabled]
Disables this option for M.2 devices. Enables this option for ASUS Hyper kit card.

SATA Controller(s) [Enabled]
Enables or disables the onboard SATA device.
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
The following items appear only when you set the SATA Controller(s) to [Enabled].
Aggressive LPM Support [Disabled]
This item allows you to enable PCH to aggressively enter power link state.

SMART Self Test [On]
This item allows you to run SMART Self Test on all HDDs during POST.

SATA6G_1-6 (Charcoal black) [Enabled]
This item allows you to enable or disable the SATA6G_1‑6 port.
