4 Safety Precautions
► Store the charger in a clean and dry
condition.
► Store the charger in a confined space.
■ The connecting cable must not be used for carrying or
hanging up the charger. The connecting cable and the
charger may be damaged.
► Hold the charger by the housing. A recessed handle is
provided on the back of the charger.
► Hang the charger on the wall bracket.

4.11 Cleaning, Maintenance and Repairs

WARNING
■ The hedge trimmer may start unintentionally if the battery
is left in place during cleaning, maintenance or repair
operations. This can result in serious injuries and damage
to property.
► Remove the battery.
► Fit the blade scabbard so that it completely covers the
cutting blades.

■ If the hedge trimmer, cutting blades, battery and charger
are not cleaned as described in this instruction manual,
components may no longer function properly or safety
devices may be rendered inoperative. This can result in
serious injuries.
