8.2 Measuring gas pressure

Con rm gas pressure after installation.
Connecting manometer
B Shut o gas supply.
B Remove the front cover (ver Fig. 23 ).
B Loosen screw inside left test point tting (do not remove)
and connect manometer tube to test point.

B Turn gas supply back on.
B Record static gas pressu re reading in table 8.

B Press ON/OFF button to turn o the appliance.

B Press and hold "Program" button and press ON/OFF button
to turn appliance ON (Fig. 49 ).

B As soon as '188' is displayed, release "Program" button

NOTE: While in this mode the appliance will
run constantly at maximum power and allow
maximum water ow.

B Turn on high volume of hot wa

hot water xtures to allow su cient ow. Press
P1 reappears on the display.
B Operate all other gas appliances on same gas piping system
at maximum output.
B Record lowest operating gas pressure reading in table 8.
Gas pressures lower than 2 kPa for Natural Gas or 3.0 kPa
for Butane will result in insu cient degree rise to the hot
water being used, r educed hot water volume, possible error
code faults and must be corrected.
Check gas pipes dimensions.
8.3 Adjusting CO
(carbon dioxide)

The CO2 can only be adjusted by a certi ed
gas technician with a calibrated CO2
analyzer.
