• Synchronous signal separation department (Main device Sync Separator :CXA2016S)
The function that separates the composite materials synchronous signal and sync on
green synchronous signal inside the PC picture signal to H, V synchronous signal.
• Picture signal level control unit (Main device Video AMP :LM2202M)
The function that adjusts brightness, contrast of PC, analogue Y/Cr/Cb picture signal and
do the impedance matching to ADC.
• Phase/frequency adjustment department (Main device PLL :ICS1523M)
The function that adjusts the digitization phase between the H synchronous signal and
intensity signal RGB from the PC and generates of the digitization base frequency, to
materialize tracking and SYNC adjustment .
(Video overlay display department) (Main device Overlay processor :PW364)
Analyze the PC digital video signals which consist from miscellaneous frequency by using
CPU and frame memory or etc.. then convert it to obtain the proper position, size and res-
olution for LCD driver circuit. It also activate the overlay display with operation menu.
For example) Miscellaneous video signals (NTSC, PAL, SECAM, VGA, SVGA, XGA,
SXGA, UXGA etc.) are resized and sunchronous signals are converted to the LCD (1366
(H)×1024 (V)) display signal.
(Frequency transformation FIFO department )(Main device FIFO memory :IDT72215LB15TF)
The digital picture signal that was output from the video overlay display department is
transformed into the back porch period and frequency that fit LCD driver specification.
(PC picture signal output department) (Main device Video Amp :HFA1405IB)
The analogue RGB signal that was input from PC is amplified and output to the PC OUT
terminal.
(Control unit ) (Main device Main CPU :MB91101PFV-G-BND-R Decode IC :EV9805AA)
Do the projector control, remote control, mouse control, cooling control, lamp control, LED
control, PC serial interface control.
(3). Process Outline
• After the power on, the reset signal for I/O controller (IC1108) of the main board Assy unit
is released then start up circuit initialization in accordance with the program in the flash
ROM and become standby condition (Illumination (Projection) waiting of the lamp unit).
• Computer In input signal (Digital) are converted into analog signal in video amplifier circuit
at first, then converted to digital signal again with ADC.
• Output signal from Monitor Out is provide from Computer 1 via video amplifier circuit.
• Storing the receiving data to the frame buffer of the resizing department, to display it resiz-
ing. The resized data is output to driver board Assy with the synchronous signal.
• The video input (S-Video/Video) signal is converted to the digital with the digital croma
processor and be stored to the frame buffer.
• I/O controller (IC1108) output four scan signal to the operation panel. When pushing any
switch scan signal run into return line via switch. I/O controller controls operation of each
function with return signal. (ex: When Power switch is on, I/O controller output "BACTA"
signal to Ballast power.
• It supplies +5V to the RC receptor board assembly, in the case that the RC receptor board
assembly detects remote control signal the IR decoder (IC1507) receives the data of
serial form, and I/O controller controls the action of each part. (Even Repeater I/F signal
(Serial form) that is supplied from the IF panel unit is similar. )
