    UMP8015 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ISO Installation This unit is designed to fit into a 1.5 DIN dashboard opening, found in many imported cars. The unit has threaded holes in the chassis side panels which may be used with the original factory mounting brackets of some Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Hyundai and Honda vehicles to mount the radio to the dashboard.

    WIRING CD Changer Connector Antenna Connector Subwoofer Output Connect to optional subwoofer. Amplifier Wiring Connect line out for optional external amplifiers. The red connector is for the right and the white connector is for the left. WARNING! Never combine (bridge) outputs for use with 1 speaker.

    UMP8015 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Power On/Off Button Press the POWER button (1) to turn the unit on and off when the vehicle ignition switch is on. If the radio is off when the ignition switch is turned off, the POWER button must be pressed to turn the radio on after the ignition switch is turned on.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Bass Control To adjust the bass level, press the PUSH SELECT control (3) until “BAS” appears on the display panel. Within five seconds, rotate the PUSH SELECT control (3) to adjust the bass from “-10” to “+10”. “00” represents a flat response.

Select the first station to be pre-set using the TUNE/TRACK/SKIP buttons (6). Press and hold the pre-set button (13-18) to be set for approximately 2 seconds.

This causes the front panel to open and fold down, revealing the disc slot (22).     MP3/WMA PLAYER OPERATION Instructions for Insert/Eject, Play/Pause, Track Selection, Cue/Review, Scan, Repeat, and Random are the same for CD and MP3 operation. Please see the CD Player Operation section for information about these topics. After inserting an MP3/WMA disc, “MP3 T” and the track number momentarily appear, followed by the ID Tag (if supported).

    TAPE PLAYER OPERATION Cassette Door/Insert To access the cassette door, located behind the front panel, press the OPEN button (21). The front panel will open and fold down to the horizontal position, allowing room to insert a cassette into the player. To insert a cassette, hold the cassette with the exposed tape edge of the side to be played to the right and insert it fully into the cassette door.
