(Driver’s Side) (a) Place the Vehicle in Park and set the Parking Brake before disconnecting the Battery. ELECTRONIC TILT ADJUST ONLY: Fully extend the Steering Wheel’s Tilt and Telescope positions.

(Fig. 1-7) (1) Insert the key into the Ignition and turn it to “ON.” (2) Turn the Steering Wheel left then right to gain access to the 2 screws securing the Cover.
