2. Display Utilities

To run the display utilities, double-click the ASUS AGP-V1326 Vx.xx program group
icon in the Program Manager, then double-click SVGA Setup among the program
icons. The SiS VGA System Configuration dialog box will appear with several options
to configure your VGA system.

resolution
Gives information on
DDC (Display Data
Channel) status, if your
monitor supports it, or
memory size of your
VGA adapter
Changes the color
palettes of your display
Opens the Power Saver
dialog box, which
enables or disables
power management of
compatible monitors.
When enabled, the period
of time after
either Standby
or Suspend
monitor
inactivation
modes
activates can
be set. The
Power Saver's
timer settings
are still in
effect even
when you quit
Windows to
use DOS.
NOTE: Any changes that you made will only take effect when you restart Win-
dows. Click Restart Windows to restart Windows using your new settings or
click Don't Restart Windows to continue your current Windows session (your
new settings will, however, not be shown — it will only take effect when you
restart Windows).

Opens the Zooming dialog box, which
enables or disables zooming of your
screen.
When enabled, hot keys can be
defined to zoom-in or zoom-out your screen,
that is, change the resolution on-the-fly,
without activating SVGA Setup. The
operating principles of this feature are:
(1) Zoom-in sequence: 1024x768 → 800x600 → 640x480
(2) Zoom-out sequence: 640x480 → 800x600 → 1024x768
(3) You must first zoom in before you can zoom out, that is, you cannot
zoom out to a resolution larger than what you initially set or defined.
Physical Screen Position: Sets the position of
your physical screen after your virtual screen
has already been started. The screen can also
be positioned by dragging the monitor graphic to
the desired position
Sets the size of the
text that WIndows
displays
Changes the
refresh rate
Sets the screen type
to either virtual or
standard
Sets the size of your
virtual screen.
