    OWNER GUIDE OPERATING YOUR FIRE PLEASE NOTE When operating your fire for the first time, some vapours may be given off which may cause a slight odour and could possibly set off any smoke alarms in the immediate vicinity. These vapours are quite normal with new appliances. They are totally harmless and will disappear after a few hours use.
  • Page 7 OWNER GUIDE The control knob can then be set to your preferred heat level. The settings are: Control Knob Radiants Condition Position Centre radiants on low. Outer radiants off. (The right hand centre radiant will glow slightly more than than the left hand centre radiant due to the pilot flame) Centre radiants fully on.

    OWNER GUIDE CLEANING YOUR FIRE Turn the fire off and allow it to cool before attempting any cleaning. Normally the fire will only need dusting. The bright metal trims may be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried with a soft duster. Obstinate marks can be removed from the guard and trims using soapy water.
