Doors and Locks
NOTE
Auto re-lock function
After unlocking with the request
switch, both doors and the boot lid,
fuel-fi ller fl ap will automatically lock
if any of the following operations
are not performed within about 30
seconds. If your vehicle has a theft-
deterrent system, the hazard warning
lights will fl ash for confi rmation.
The time required for the doors and
the boot lid, fuel-fi ller fl ap to lock
automatically can be changed.
Refer to Personalisation Features on
page 9-10 .
Opening a door or the boot lid.

Locking, Unlocking with
Transmitter
Both doors and the boot lid, fuel-fi ller fl ap
can be locked/unlocked by operating the
keyless entry system transmitter, refer to
Keyless Entry System (page 3-3 ).

Lock Switch
Both doors and the boot lid, fuel-fi ller fl ap
lock automatically when the lock side is
pressed with both doors closed.
They both unlock when the unlock side is
pressed.

NOTE
The doors and the boot lid, fuel-fi ller
fl ap cannot be locked while any other
door is open.
Auto Lock/Unlock Function
WARNING
Do not pull the inner handle on a door:
Pulling the inner handle on a
door while the vehicle is moving
is dangerous. Passengers can fall
out of the vehicle if the door opens
accidentally , which could result in
death or serious injury.
