Everyone using, maintaining, changing accessories or working near this tool must read, understand and follow these Safety Instructions!
Impact wrenches can cause flying particles.
Proper eye protection must be worn at all times by tool user and bystanders.

Sockets, bits and adapters not made for power tools can break when used with power tools. Sockets, bits and adapters not made for
impact drivers can break when used with impact drivers.

Excessive vibration can cause injury. If numbness, tingling, pain or whitening of the skin occurs, stop using tool and consult a

not wear jewelry, loose clothing, or neckwear around power tools. Keep work area clear of cleaning rags and all items that could
become entangled with the tool.
Entanglements can cause injuries.
Driving screws creates dust.
Do not breathe dust created when driving screws. Use approved mask. Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding,
drilling, and other construction activities contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm.
Breathing dust created when driving screws can cause injury.
This tool is not insulated for contact with electric power sources.
Do not use near live electric circuits. When driving screws into walls, be aware that they may have hidden electric wires.
Electric shock can cause injury.
This tool is not intended for use in a flammable or explosive atmosphere.

Sudden and unexpected tool movement can occur when the fastener bottoms on the work.
Be sure your body position allows you to have control of the tool at all times. Make sure your footing is secure. Consult
manufacturer for proper reaction bar if movement is excessive.
When using a reaction bar:
• Be aware hands or feet can be injured if bar breaks.
• Keep hands from between bar and workpiece. When operating the tool, always keep the body and particularly the hands away
from the working attachment fixed to the tool. Hands and fingers can be injured if caught between bar and work piece.
• Follow instructions supplied with reaction bar for proper installation and use.
If the tool appears to malfunction, remove from use immediately and arrange for service and repair. If it is not practical to remove tool
from service, then shut off the air supply to the tool and write or have written a warning note and attach it to the tool.
Always when using the tool, adopt a firm footing and/or position and grip the tool sufficiently only to overcome any reaction
forces that may result from the tool doing work. Do not overgrip.
Never lay the tool down until the working attachment has stopped moving.
Sudden and unexpected tool movement can cause injury.

- Page 2 The use of any accessory with this tool not provided or specified by Sioux Tools can perform unpredictably. Use only accessories provided or specified by Sioux Tools. Use only correct spare parts for maintenance and repair. Do not improvise or make temporary repairs. Major servicing and repairs should only be carried out by persons trained to do so.
- Page 3 INTENDED USE The impact wrench is designed for the tightening and loosening of threaded fasteners within the range as specified by the manufacturer. It should only be used in conjunction with suitable impact type 1/2" square female drive nut running sockets. Only use sockets which are of the impact type. It is allowed to use suitable extension bars, universal joints and socket adaptors between the square output drive of the impact wrench and the square female drive of the socket.

LUBRICATION For maximum performance and tool life, an air line lubricator, set to deliver 4 drops per minute, is recommended. SIOUX No. 288 Air Motor Oil is recommended. If an airline lubrication is not used, it is recommended that the tool be oiled daily before use to improve performance. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH Der Schlagschrauber ist zum Festziehen und Lösen von Verbindungselementen mit Gewinden innerhalb des vom Hersteller genannten Einsatzbereichs gedacht. Er darf nur mit geeigneten 1/2" Innenvierkantaufsätzen für Einschlagmuttern verwendet werden. Es dürfen nur für Drehschlagschrauber geeignete Steckaufsätze verwendet werden. Geeignete Verlängerungen, Universalgelenke und Steckaufsatzadapter zwischen dem Vierkantantrieb des Schlagschraubers und dem Innenvierkantantrieb des Steckaufsatzes können eingesetzt werden. -

SCHLAUCH UND SCHLAUCHANSCHLÜSSE Empfohlen wird ein Druckluft-Versorgungsschlauch mit einem Innendurchmesser von 3/8” (10 mm). Wenn ein Verlängerungsschlauch erforderlich ist, muss dieser einen Innendurchmesser von 1/2” (13 mm) aufweisen. Der Innendurchmesser von Kupplungen muss mindestens 3/8” (10 mm) betragen.
